About me
| I caught my first 7 pound bass when I was 13 years old. Fishing has always been a big part of my
life. I have previously worked with hunting and fishing magazines and produced an outdoor television show that
was aired statewide in Arkansas. I believe that hunting and fishing kept me out of a lot of trouble when I was
growing up; therefore, young anglers are always welcome in my boat. |
I started guiding on Lake Millwood in 1990 and tournament fishing. That was the same time I started fishing Lake Fork at night.
After a few trips to Fork you just don't want to fish anywhere else. After meeting a number of guides and
taking some clients to Fork, I had the chance to move to Lake Fork and become a full time guide. I have a
commitment to you, I want to see you Catch Fish!

When you hire me as a guide one of my jobs for that day is to do my best to give you the opportunity
to catch the fish of a lifetime, so you may occasionally see me on the lake alone in the boat.
On the rare days that I don't have a guide trip lined up or when a customer cancels at the last minute,
I still go fishing! I do this for two reasons: first, to make certain that I still have a productive
pattern working and don't waste time searching for a pattern on the customer's time and secondly, "Yeah,
I love fishing THAT MUCH!"

When you hire a guide, any guide, be sure that you choose one that is a professional,
full time, guide that actually makes his or her living from guideing. In addition to being licensed
and insured, they have knowledge of the lake, recent experience on the lake and are familiar with current
conditions and fishing patterns. Not only will you have a safe and enjoyably trip, but chances are within
minutes of getting in the boat you could be getting your "string pulled" by the fish of a lifetime!
If you have any questions be sure to contact me.
